Fuck dude the Dwarven Commoner is the most personal journey I've had in the game coming from a similar background of being very poor and doing some very questionable things to eat and stay alive. Hell you even become a Paragon after killing the Archdemom wether you live or die.

The Grey Wardens treat you as you treat them and respect you greatly. All the humans stereotype you as a thief and criminal. That after all the shit that's happened after all those he loves betrays him or uses him for personal gain in some way he doesn't care if he lives or dies. I cried at the end because I didn't feel like My Warden wanted to live. Dragon Age Origins In the first game of the series, Dragon Age: Origins, there are four companion characters that can be romanced. Jarvia turns your Best Friend against you and you're forced to kill him because of the situation those like Harrowmont pushing the poor into these situations. In the Dragon Age series, the player can romance several non-playable characters (NPCs), depending on the gender of the player-character and the sexuality of the NPC. Harrowmont treats you like shit cause you're from Dust Town and basically is a rich elitist who hates the poor. Your Mom still treats you like shit and uses your Sisters status to further her drinking habit.

It really changes how you view the game world after going back to Orzemmar and your Sister uses your love for her to further Bhelen's political career. Literally everyone you knew and loved becomes corrupt and betrays you. The Commoner Dwarf Warden is so fucking sad dude.
